Weekly Arcade's multiplayer games connect you with players worldwide through real-time WebSocket competition and global leaderboards. From party drawing games to competitive racing, every multiplayer game loads in under 1.5 seconds and works on any device including mobile - and Doodle Dash rooms hold up to 30 players at once. Signed-in players who compete on leaderboards play 3x more sessions than guests.

Three games, three kinds of multiplayer

Doodle Dash is party-scale: up to 30 players in a room, with a Speed Draw mode where everyone draws at once instead of taking turns, which is what keeps a large group from being mostly spectators. Chess 3D is one-on-one and turn-based, so latency is irrelevant and a match works fine on a poor connection. Drift Legends is real-time racing, and its online races deliberately belong to no chapter - so racing a stranger mid-campaign never advances or interferes with your story progress. Each is a genuinely different networking problem, which is why the collection is three games rather than ten.

Joining is a link, not an install

There is no client to download, no app store account and no lobby software. A game is a URL that opens in whatever browser the other person already has, on a phone or a laptop, and they are in. That matters most for the party game, where the slowest part of most group games is getting everyone installed and signed up. Signing in is needed for ranked play and saved progress but not to join a friend's room.

Multiplayer Games FAQ

How many players can join?

Doodle Dash supports up to 30 players in one room. Chess 3D and Drift Legends are one-on-one - a chess match and a race respectively - rather than party-sized.

Do my friends need to download anything?

No. Joining is a link that opens in any modern browser on any device. There is no client, no app store account and no lobby software to install.

Is multiplayer free?

Yes, with no downloads, no ads and no purchases. Signing in is needed for ranked play and saved progress but not to join a friend's room.

Does online racing affect my campaign progress?

No, deliberately. An online race in Drift Legends belongs to no chapter, so it never advances story progress and never carries a chapter's objectives into the race. You can queue for multiplayer mid-campaign with no risk to it.

What happens if my connection drops?

Chess 3D is turn-based, so a brief drop costs you nothing and the position is intact when you reconnect. The real-time games are more sensitive, as any real-time game is - a dropped connection ends that race or round rather than corrupting anything.
