About Doodle Dash

Doodle Dash is Weekly Arcade's first party game - a multiplayer drawing and guessing experience built for up to 30 players per room. Unlike competitors such as Skribbl.io, Doodle Dash adds Speed Draw mode where every player draws at the same time, eliminating waiting. Touch drawing with the Pointer Events API works perfectly on mobile. XP progression unlocks new brush styles and color palettes, giving returning players a reason to come back. Positive-only star votes keep the social energy fun and toxicity-free.

How to Play Doodle Dash

In Classic mode, one player draws a chosen word while others race to guess it in the chat. In Speed Draw mode, every player draws the same word simultaneously - after time expires, all drawings are revealed and players vote for the best. Earn XP for correct guesses, helping others guess, and receiving star votes.

In Classic mode, start with the most recognizable part of your drawing - the single detail that makes the object unmistakable
Speed Draw mode rewards speed and clarity over artistry - bold outlines beat detailed shading every time
Guess early and keep refining: partial guesses won't count, but you'll learn from what's marked as incorrect
As drawer, use the hint system to your advantage - revealing one letter at 25 seconds costs you nothing

How many players can join a Doodle Dash room?

Up to 30 players can join a single room. Public rooms auto-start when minimum player counts are reached (4 for Classic, 6 for Speed Draw). Private rooms start when the host is ready.

What is Speed Draw mode?

Speed Draw mode has every player draw the same word simultaneously for 60 seconds. When time is up, all canvases are revealed at once. Players vote with stars for the best drawing. This mode eliminates waiting - everyone is drawing every round.

Does Doodle Dash work on mobile?

Yes. Doodle Dash is designed mobile-first. The drawing canvas uses the Pointer Events API for smooth finger drawing on any touchscreen. All UI elements meet minimum touch target sizes.

Can I play without signing in?
