About Trick-or-Treat Rush
Trick-or-Treat Rush is a free Halloween browser runner built for one thumb. Instead of dodging obstacles, you read the street: every house shows its hand, and the choice of which porch to hit is the whole game. Lit windows promise a big haul and a sprinkler promises a soaked costume, so the skill is reading each house before you reach it, committing with a swipe, and keeping your chain alive. The run lasts about 75 to 85 seconds, and the Witching Minute gives you a short burst where generous houses pay double. There are four costumes, each with one perk and one cost and its own weekly leaderboard, and a free Kid costume that posts to the main board. The Daily Street is the same for everyone on a given day, so you can compare your haul with friends on the same porches. The game runs in a browser tab with no download and no account needed to play, and once it has loaded it keeps working offline.
How to Play Trick-or-Treat Rush
Your character runs down a street of houses and swipes between three lanes. Each house shows its hand before you reach it: lit windows mean a Generous house with a big haul, a sprinkler arc means a soak that ruins your costume, and a dark house is a quiet, safe stop. Swipe to commit to a porch before the curb. Hauls build a chain, and a clean chain fills your bucket faster. A soak breaks the chain. The Witching Minute doubles the haul from Generous houses for a short window. Get as much candy as you can home before the curfew clock runs out.
Trick-or-Treat Rush Tips and Strategy
- Lit windows are a big haul, but a house with its porch light off is usually a safer bet than it looks. Read the whole street before the first swipe, not just the nearest door
- A sprinkler spray arc means a soaked costume. Swipe early enough to clear it, because a soaked costume costs more than a single missed house
- The Witching Minute doubles the haul from Generous houses. Chain your streak through it rather than spending it on a cautious detour
- One soak ends the chain, so a long streak is worth protecting even when a bigger house is on offer
- Costume choice is a sidegrade, not a power-up for everyone: the Ghost pulls candy in from further away, the Witch carries a bigger bucket, and each one posts to its own weekly board
- The Daily Street is the same street for every player on the day, so the porch you misread yesterday is a fair thing to study today
Trick-or-Treat Rush FAQ
Is Trick-or-Treat Rush free to play?
Yes. Trick-or-Treat Rush is free on Weekly Arcade with no download, no ads and no purchases. Signing in is optional and only adds leaderboard submission and saved progress.
How long does a run of Trick-or-Treat Rush take?
A run lasts about 75 to 85 seconds, so it fits into a short break. The Daily Street is one run a day that is the same for every player.
Can I play Trick-or-Treat Rush offline?
Yes. Once the game has loaded in your browser it keeps working with no internet connection, so you can play on a train or anywhere without signal.
What is the Daily Street?
The Daily Street is a single street of houses generated from the day's date, so every player gets the same porches and the same sprinklers. It is a fair way to compare your haul with friends.
Do the costumes change how the game plays?
Costumes carry one perk each: the Ghost pulls candy in from further, the Witch carries a bigger bucket, the Pumpkin shields you from one sprinkler, and the Skeleton starts faster. Each costume has its own weekly leaderboard, so a perk never races the free Kid costume on the main board.
Does Trick-or-Treat Rush work on a phone?
Yes. It is built for one thumb: swipe left, right or to commit to a porch. It runs in any modern browser on a phone, tablet or desktop, and the keyboard arrow keys work too.
