About Cosmo Merge
Cosmo Merge is a free orbital physics merge puzzle game on Weekly Arcade. Sling celestial objects - asteroids, moons, planets, stars, and black holes - into orbit around a gravity well and match pairs mid-flight to forge larger cosmic bodies. Objects orbit continuously, creating dynamic collisions and near-misses. Master the 9-tier merge chain from tiny Asteroid to consuming Black Hole. Compete on the daily and all-time global leaderboard. No ads, no downloads, no in-app purchases. Average session: 5-15 minutes.
How to Play Cosmo Merge
Move along the arena edge to position your sling, then click or release to launch the cosmic object into orbit around the central gravity well. Objects orbit continuously - when two identical objects collide mid-flight, they merge into the next tier. Asteroids become Moons, Moons become Mars, and so on up to the Black Hole. If too many objects crowd the arena, the game ends. Aim for chain reactions to multiply your score.
Cosmo Merge Tips and Strategy
- Sling objects at an angle - tangential launches create stable orbits with more collision chances than firing straight at the center
- Two Neutron Stars can merge into a Black Hole - the largest object in the game. Time your slings to bring them together in orbit!
- Watch out for the gravity well - objects that spiral too close to the center are consumed with no points
- Asteroids orbit fast and Jupiters orbit slow - use the speed difference to set up collisions between same-tier objects
- Keep the object count below 20 - once you hit 25 objects orbiting simultaneously, you only have 3 seconds before game over
Cosmo Merge FAQ
Is Cosmo Merge free to play?
Yes. Cosmo Merge is 100% free on Weekly Arcade with zero ads, no in-app purchases, and no download required.
How is Cosmo Merge different from other merge games?
Cosmo Merge uses orbital physics - objects orbit a gravity well instead of falling and stacking. You sling objects into orbit and they merge mid-flight when matching pairs collide. It is free in your browser with a global leaderboard, no ads, and no download.
What is the highest object in the merge chain?
The Black Hole is the top tier - created by merging two Neutron Stars. It is rare, large, and rewarded with a full-screen special effect.
Does Cosmo Merge work on phones?
Yes. Cosmo Merge is designed mobile-first and works on any phone, tablet, or desktop browser without installing an app.
Can I play Cosmo Merge offline?
Yes. After your first visit, Cosmo Merge is cached as a PWA and works without an internet connection. Install Weekly Arcade to your home screen for the best offline experience.
How does scoring work?
Each merge awards points based on the tier created. Higher-tier merges are worth more points. Chain reactions - where one drop causes multiple consecutive merges - award bonus points up to 2x per chain level.
