Chaos Kitchen is a two-minute restaurant rush built around three prep stations and a kitchen that actively works against you. Orders arrive every eight seconds and each one expires thirty seconds later, so the queue is always growing faster than any single dish can be assembled. Six recipes run from Scrambled Eggs at 60 points up to a Burger at 120, and each is a route through the stations rather than a button press: a Burger needs bread, meat and lettuce, and the meat has to be chopped and then cooked, at two seconds a station. Serving builds a multiplier that climbs 0.2 per order to a ceiling of 2.5, and an order handed over with more than fifteen seconds still on its clock pays a flat 50-point bonus on top. The chaos is on a timer of its own. Every twenty-five seconds one of five events fires for ten seconds - a buttered floor, a stove fire, shrunken ingredients, a rush of extra orders, or a VIP who wants everything perfect - and surviving one is worth 75 points. Nothing about the layout changes between runs, so improvement is genuinely about routing rather than luck.
How to Play Chaos Kitchen
Orders appear at the top of the screen with a thirty-second timer each. Tap an ingredient to pick it up, tap a station to process it - chop, cook or mix, two seconds each - and tap the serving counter when the dish matches an order. Ingredients change state as they go, so raw meat becomes chopped meat and then cooked meat, and a Burger needs its meat taken through both. A round lasts 120 seconds. Every completed order raises your multiplier by 0.2 up to a maximum of 2.5, and an order served with more than fifteen seconds left pays 50 bonus points before the multiplier is applied. Every twenty-five seconds a chaos event fires for ten seconds; riding one out without losing the round is worth 75 points.
Chaos Kitchen Tips and Strategy
- Read the whole order queue before touching anything. Salad and Sandwich both need only the chopping station, so if two of them are up you can clear both in one trip rather than crossing the kitchen twice
- The 50-point speed bonus needs fifteen seconds left on the order, which means starting a Burger the moment it appears - by the time an order is halfway through its thirty seconds, the bonus is already unreachable
- The multiplier caps at 2.5 and only climbs 0.2 per order, so it takes eight consecutive serves to max it. Protecting a run of small dishes is worth more than one heroic Burger
- Steak is the cheapest dish to make - one ingredient, one station, two seconds - at 70 points. When the queue is clogged, clearing a Steak buys you multiplier progress for almost no time
- Chaos events land every twenty-five seconds like clockwork, so there are four in a round. Have a dish already plated when one is due rather than starting a three-ingredient recipe into it
- Scrambled Eggs and Omelette both start at the mix station, so an egg you have already mixed can become either depending on what the queue asks for next
- Orders that expire cost you nothing directly, but they cost you the multiplier progress you would have had. Letting a Burger die to serve two Salads is usually correct
