# Weekly Arcade

> Weekly Arcade is a free browser gaming platform that releases a new original HTML5 game every week. 27 games across puzzle, arcade, racing, strategy, 3D, card, simulation, and multiplayer categories. No downloads, no ads, no accounts required. Games are small enough to start almost immediately: 23 of the 27 ship under 50KB gzipped, and they run in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.

Weekly Arcade games are built with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript - they run directly in any modern browser with no plugins, extensions, or app store downloads. The platform is deployed on Firebase Hosting with a NestJS backend on Google Cloud Run. All games are 100% original, designed and built in-house in a 7-day development cycle.
